Error in Selecting Transmitter Name for T4 and T4A Interface Rules

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

Summary:

We need to rename a specific legal entity. We tried to rename first the Legal Reporting Unit connected to the legal entity since we needed to correct the information needed for payroll first, specifically for T4 and T4A Year-End Reports.

However, we are receiving the below error when selecting a value for the Transmitter Name under T4 and T4A Interface Rules.

Error: Select a transmitter name that has the same name as the transmitter's TRU for the form T4A. (HRX-1562867)

We then tried to change the Legal Entity Name in hopes that it would resolve the issue. However, we are still encountering the same error.
