Preboarding Journey triggering as soon as moved to HR

Summary:

We previously had preboarding journeys triggering as soon as an employee was moved from ORC to HCM using quick convert. This enabled us to gather information from the employee before they started, and also provide line managers with a list of tasks to do before their new team member started. This triggered as soon as they were moved to HR.

We then had another onboarding journey that triggered on the enterprise hire date with different tasks for the employee and the line manager.

Since a recent update these journeys are no longer triggering and now have to be allocated manually which is onerous. How can we return to the previous state where the journeys went out automatically?
