Security Rule Amendment – Duplicate Bank Account Validation (Ignore Currency)
Summary:
Check on security rules of existing bank accounts linked to AR customers
Question:
Can you amend the security rule, so that it only considers bank account number and sort code – regardless of currency
Issue:
Some customer accounts have bank account currency populated
Some customer accounts don’t have bank account currency populated
During patch testing – we added an existing bank account to another customer to check that we would receive an error message – when adding the bank account, we populated the currency as GBP – the currency was not populated on the original customer, where the bank account was also applied - the system allowed the bank account to be applied to two customers – one with GBP populated and one without GBP populated.
