How to configure Activity Feed to Only Display Tasks and Appointments Instead of Updates

Hello Team,
Currently we have a requirement, that we would like to display only Tasks and Appointments created for an object (let us take opportunities as an example) in its Activity Feed for Redwood UI.
I have activated an activity configuration for opportunities object using "Configure Activities Display". However, any time after an update is made to the opportunity, it is displayed under the activity feed.
As frequent update to opportunity will clog up the activity feed panel and sub view, our requirement is that we do not want "update" activities to show under the activity feed section and only want tasks and appointments to be shown. How can this be achieved?
