Ability to optimize route based on resource location
Summary:
Hi Team,
We have a question related to Routing Rules.
We are creating a routing plan to optimize resource route to minimize total travel.
Scenario is simple: Resource has five activities scheduled for a particular day at five different locations. A routing profile is created at parent bucket level to create an optimized route for the resource for those 5 activities.
We know
- If resource location is enabled and his GPS co-ordinates are available, then routing will optimize route based on his current location.
- If resource location is not enabled in the device, then there will not be any GPS co-ordinates. Then resource’s start location will be used.
