Is LinkedIn InMail expected to appear in Oracle Recruiting candidate profiles?

Hi Everyone,

We recently noticed that LinkedIn InMail conversations are appearing within the candidate’s Oracle profile.

I would like to understand the following:

  • Is it expected behavior for LinkedIn messages or chats to automatically appear in the Oracle candidate profile?
  • Do we have any control over whether LinkedIn conversations are stored in the candidate’s profile?
  • Some of these messages may contain informal discussions, and I’m unsure if all such conversations should be part of the candidate’s permanent profile.
  • I’m also wondering if this feature could potentially cause communication delays or confusion, for example candidates receiving or seeing duplicate interview requests if messages sync slowly.
