Hello everyone,

We are attempting to run the Candidate Data Purge / Data Disposal process in Oracle HCM Cloud. However, the process is failing and we are receiving the following error message:

“List of Candidate Numbers Rejected by the Data Disposal Process (Candidates marked for obfuscation are allowed)”

It appears that certain candidate records are being rejected, but the system does not clearly indicate why they are not eligible for purging.

Has anyone encountered this issue?
Could you please guide us on:

  • What conditions prevent a candidate from being purged?
  • How to check whether a candidate is marked for obfuscation or has dependent data blocking the purge?
