Lifeevents are getting triggered for temporary non-primary assignment

Hi,

All the eligibilities and benefit relationships are based on the primary assignment. However, when we create a temporary assignment with primary flag as No (Original/Base assignment is primary and assignment status is suspended payroll eligible).

However, we see that all the life events such as salary, assignment category, working hours changes are triggered automatically even though these changes are done on the temporary assignment and not base assignment.

Could someone advise if this is expected or we have some workaround to avoid these life events. As i believe the changes done on the base assignment should only trigger lifeevents.
