Eloqua Source Email Editor Code Auto Updates

Summary:

I have noticed in the past that whenever the source editor is used, the system auto adjusts code to make sure it fits some criteria it has and to reduce errors. Usually that isn't a problem. But recently, we have been implementing Litmus and tried to add a Litmus tracking code onto the code of the email at the bottom. The problem is that Eloqua auto adjusts the tracking code slightly and it breaks the tracking between the email and Litmus.

Is there any way to turn off that feature for an asset or at least prevent it from adjusting code in specific instances? Maybe a code snippet that prevents an area from being readjusted after the email is saved?
