Candidate profiles incorrect merge - Resolve Candidate Profiles Data and Application Data

An external candidate was manually merged with the wrong profile during the hiring process causing cross-linked candidate/hiring profiles. The candidate has accepted the offer and started with the firm already. We have to correct the candidate profiles so that when the candidates log in, they need to see their own correct profile. However, the Hiring Activity tab is displaying the application on the incorrect profile and wrong SID in the application(the beta record).

Looking for suggestions on how to fix the Candidate profiles and how to move the candidate application to correct profile.
