Person Profile Migration to Redwood- Cannot Hide/Unhide Fields Properly

What is the correct method to set the visibility of the fields under Person Profile in Redwood?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

After turning on the Redwood related Talent Profile options, some fields are appearing that were not used under the Responsive pages (at the top of the leading and mandatory fields in Redwood).
If the display of those fields are set to hide under the Content Section Properties, it does not take effect for the existing sections. If I am using Visual Builder Studio, I can hide those fields but it will take effect to all the custom created sections under the same template (e.g. those sections are built to the Education template are going to have the same fields available after the VBCS change).
