Goal plan eligibility refresh does not remove employee access to create goals

edited Mar 30, 2026 7:25AM in Performance Management 1 comment

Hi everyone,

I have a question about goal plan eligibility in Oracle.

If an employee was initially eligible for a goal plan and later their context changes so they are no longer eligible, what should happen in the system?

In our case, we updated the goal plan to exclude the employee, or we ran the scheduled process to refresh eligibility. However, the employee is still able to edit , update and create goals in the same goal plan. it seems that , updating eligibility does not remove employees who were already assigned. It mainly controls who gets added going forward.

Or is there an additional process/setup we need to run to fully remove the employee’s ability to create goals in that plan?

Howdy, Stranger!
