Using Smart Actions to Invoke Agent Teams – Quick POC

Summary:
I was doing a quick POC around Smart Actions and explored invoking Agent Teams directly from the UI.
What I did:
- Created a Smart Action (Application Composer → Smart Actions)
- Defined a custom action: “CallAgents”
- Set the Action Type = Agent Team
- Pointed it to a published Agent Team in my instance:
- Sales Video Search Team
Configuration highlights:
- Enabled for Sales application
- Available across all objects and dashboards
- Added a default starter question: “Welcome – search for a video.”
Outcome:
- The Smart Action successfully invokes the Agent Team directly from the UI
- Provides a simple way to embed agent-driven interactions into standard user flows
