Validation Issue in Succession Plan Creation

Hello All,

We are currently implementing a validation for succession plan creation. The requirement is that if more than one succession plan is created for the same position (Position Type), the system should display an error message indicating that multiple succession plans exist for the same position.

However, we are facing an issue where the validation is not working as expected when set to Error. It only works when the validation type is set to Warning.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Our client requires this validation to appear as an error message rather than a warning, but it does not seem to function correctly in VB.
