Can system notify requestor when their Req's auto generated PO has failed validation?

Summary:

Our client has POs autogenerated from Requisitions. If there is any type of issue with the PO, the system will generate the PO but not submit it for approval due to validation errors such as "Order PURXXX couldn't be submitted because it didn't pass 1 or more validation checks. (PO-2055691)". Such as, if Req amount is greater than BPA amount, Req will get approved but PO will fail validation.

The Buyer on the PO will get the validation error but does anyone know if there's a way for the Requestor to be notified of such validation errors for POs tied to their Reqs? Without the Requestors being notified, they will assume the Req/PO is good to go but in reality the PO has failed validation and sitting incomplete. Requestor's cannot even cancel or withdraw/edit those Reqs either because the system the PO is still being processed and shoot out an error to the requestor stating:

Howdy, Stranger!
