Notification sent when candidate merge completed, now no record of it or why it happened
Summary:
In Oracle Recruit Cloud, we merged a candidate with an existing worker after the offer was accepted. Even though we have no rejection message setup in the candidate selection process for this phase and state combination the candidate was sent an offer rescinded notification from the recruiting content library. How can I determine why this was sent? As the external version of the candidate was deleted as part of the merge, we cannot even see the notification in the candidate messaging history. The only way we know it went out is the candidate reached out to us.
We are aware that the external candidate moving to a rejected status is expected functionality - but this notification has never gone out before during our candidate merges (Which do typically happen at the offer phase). I've found the triggered notification in the recruiting content library, but aside from seeing the category is "Job Offer Extended Rejected Notification" there isn't much to go on there.
