hz_cust_accounts merge status is not reflecting in hz_orig_sys_references for hz_cust_accounts owner

Summary:

Enabled SSM in Cloud to track the source to Oracle reference mapping. The level of tracking we are interested in is HZ_CUST_ACCOUNT_ROLES and HZ_CUST_ACCT_SITES_ALL and our expectation is when a customer account/site gets merged the victim owner_table_id gets updated in hz_orig_sys_references table with survivor owner_table_id

But, when I performed account and account site merge, the account/site merge status is not reflecting in hz_orig_sys_references. Appreciate if someone has experience with this functionality and confirm whether this expected behavior? Also how to achieve this?
