Does 26B Redwood Earnings and Deductions replace Calculation Entries?

In 26B we get a Redwood Earnings and Deductions page which seems to duplicate the functionality of the Calculation Entries page which is still there.

The release notes for the new 26B Earnings and Deductions page explain that the profile option, when set to "Both", turns on both the new page, and the Redwood version of Calculation Entries.

This is the only option we have if we want to use the Earnings and Deductions page. But the new page has all the functionality of Calculation Entries, and much more. So why do we still need Calculation Entries?
