Calculate Final Rating as Average of Mid-Year and Year-End Appraisals

We will have two Appraisals Mid-Year and Year End, where the manager will provide his/her ratings. We need to build a Fast formula for the Year-End calculated rating to be based on the Average of Mid-Year and Year-End Appraisals.

For example an employee receives a Mid-Year rating of 3.8 and a Year-End rating of 4.2:

• Mid-Year: Goals = 4.0, Competencies = 3.2 → Overall = (4.0 × 0.70) + (3.2 × 0.30) = 3.76 ≈ 3.8
• Year-End: Goals = 4.3, Competencies = 4.0 → Overall = (4.3 × 0.70) + (4.0 × 0.30) = 4.21 ≈ 4.2

Final Annual Rating = (3.8 + 4.2) / 2 = 4.0
