How do I set a guided journey to be visible for the line manager only on a performance document?

Summary:

We have a requirement to have a guided journey set at the page level of a performance document to be visible for the line manager role only. I have used the following logic

[[$application.user.roles.includes('LINE_MANAGER_ROLE')?'GUIDED_JOURNEY_FOR_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENT':null]]

When I go to preview this change through VBS, from an employee perspective, not only is the guided journey not visible but the entire document. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
