when an employee becomes newly ineligible for benefits, the cobra life event should work
Summary:
My customer wants to trigger cobra life events for employees (remain employed) who have become newly ineligible due to a change in assignment status, i.e. full to part time or regular to casual etc. The cobra initialization Life event triggers with the Newly Ineligible life event (1 day later) but when evaluating the first … it closes an enrollment opportunity. then when evaluating the 2nd (cobra) there are no enrollments available. How can this be setup to let the newly ineligible employee still retain benefits through cobra, and remain employed? Thank you!!
