REST APIs for One-Time Payment Requests – AI Agent Driven Integration

We are currently designing an AI Agent–driven solution that interacts with Oracle to facilitate one-time (ad-hoc) payment requests initiated through conversational or automated channels (e.g., chatbot, virtual assistant, or AI workflow).

Use Case Overview:

An AI Agent will:

  • Interact with users (customers/internal users) to capture payment intent
  • Dynamically generate one-time payment requests
  • Trigger payment request processing within Oracle via REST APIs
  • Provide real-time status updates back to the user

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to create one-time payment transactions
  • Seamless REST API-based integration with Oracle Payables
  • Support for:
    • Guest or ad-hoc customers
    • External payment gateway interaction
    • Secure and auditable transactions
