Massive Back Out duplicate unrestrict life events

I'm uploading some unrestricted benefits using a BenefitsEnrollmentExcelUpload spreadsheet. I accidentally added two events on the same day for hundreds of employees and I'm having trouble deleting them for batch processing.

I've already tried all the processes below without success, but I believe the process isn't prepared for two events of the same type on the same day because it only deleted cases that had only one event on the same day.

• Back Out Unrestricted Life Events

• Purge Backed-Out or Voided Life Event Data

I also tried the following, but without success:

• Collapse Life Events

• Reevaluate Designee Eligibility

If I perform the "Back Out Event" through the Admin screen, I can clear these two events, but not for batch processing... does anyone have any tips? I can't delete them one by one on the admin screen since there are hundreds.
