Performance vs Compensation Rating Control Restrict Manager Override but Allow Compensation Updates

We are implementing Oracle Fusion HCM Performance Management integrated with Compensation. Currently, when the manager completes the performance evaluation, the overall ratings are generated and displayed in the Compensation performance rating worksheets.

However, since the “Allow Manual Rating” option is enabled in the performance template (Overall Summary section), managers are able to manually override the calculated ratings. This also allows Compensation users to modify ratings in the compensation worksheet, and those changes can be written back.

The business requirement is:

  • Managers should not be allowed to manually override ratings in Performance Management; ratings should be system-calculated only.
  • However, Compensation users
