"Absence of AHFL GSTIN–Branch State Validation Leading to State-Wise Reporting Discrepancies"
The system captures the GSTINs of both the supplier/vendor and the buyer (AHFL) and accordingly determines the applicable GST type (IGST/CGST/SGST) and computes the GST amount. However, the selected Business branch code is not validated against the state linked to the Business GSTIN.
For instance, if an Business GSTIN registered in Maharashtra is used while selecting the Baroda branch (Gujarat), the system does not generate any warning or error, and the transaction is processed successfully. This may result in inaccuracies in state-wise financial reporting, particularly during the extraction of state-wise trial balances and GST-related reconciliations.
