Difference between Payroll Relationship entries (Worker) in Personal Payment Methods

Hello,

I have a question regarding the Payroll Relationship dropdown in the Personal Payment Methods page.

For one employee, I see multiple entries in the dropdown, all labeled as “Worker”, with no clear distinction between them.

My questions are:

  1. What is the difference between these “Worker” entries? I understand they correspond to different payroll relationships, but there is no visible information to distinguish them (e.g. legal employer, payroll, status).
  2. Does it make any difference where the personal payment method is created?
    • If I create a payment method under one “Worker” instead of another, will it impact payroll processing?
  3. Is there a way to customize these labels?
