Issue with Inventory Based Routing in Oracle Field Service

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue with inventory-based routing in Oracle Field Service.

We have two OFS instances:

  • In the first instance, inventory-based routing works as expected.
  • In the second instance, routing does not consider required inventory correctly, even though the routing plan configuration appears to be the same in both instances.

Scenario:

  • Resource A has inventory quantity = 10
  • Resource B has inventory quantity = 5
  • Activity required inventory quantity = 7

Expected Behavior:
The activity should be assigned to Resource A because only Resource A has sufficient required inventory quantity.

Actual Behavior:
The routing plan assigns the activity to Resource B (or another resource without sufficient inventory), even though Resource B does not meet the required inventory quantity.
