Can we have the digital signature enabled for the Employee without enabling Manager Final Feedback?

Summary:

We want to have the digital signature enabled but not the manager final feedback. But when we open the process tab in the performance template, we see that the 'Include digital siganature' is greyed out as shown below.

This is the Process Flow set up. We have not enabled Manager final feedback as shown.

Is employee digital signature not allowed without having manager final feedback?
