Interim is not working when employees switches plan

Hello Team,

When an employee moves from Plan A to Plan B, we want the system to suspend the new plan (Plan B) and set the old plan (Plan A) as the interim coverage for a specific life event. However, this setup is not functioning as expected.

The interim coverage works correctly when an employee switches options within the same plan, but it fails to work when the employee changes to a different plan within the same Plan Type (e.g., Medical).
