Making Person EIT Passport Field Read-Only Only on Candidate Application Page

Hi Team,

We have a requirement related to the Passport field in the Person EIT section of Oracle Recruiting.

Our requirement is:

  • The Passport field should be read-only on the Candidate Application page.
  • The same Passport field should remain editable when a candidate responds to a Request for More Information (RFMI) request, so they can update or provide the required details.

Currently, when we configure the Passport field as read-only at the Person EIT level, the field becomes read-only in both places:

  • Candidate Application page
  • Request for More Information (RFMI) flow

As a result, candidates are unable to update the Passport information when responding to an RFMI request.
