I need to create a new benefit option with an effective date of 01-Jan-2027. This option should be available and visible only during the Open Enrollment period in November 2026 for elections related to the 2027 plan year.

Additionally, once Open Enrollment is completed and closed in November 2026, I do not want this option to be available for any Qualifying Life Event (QLE) transactions processed thereafter, including QLEs occurring in December 2026.

What is the recommended configuration approach in Oracle Benefits to ensure that:

  1. The option is available only during Open Enrollment for the 2027 plan year.
  2. The option is not available for any QLEs after Open Enrollment closes, including December 2026 QLE processing.
