Convert Pending Worker to Nonworker

Hello Community,

Is there a supported way to convert a Pending Worker directly to a Nonworker?

Our current workaround is to create a Nonworker work relationship and cancel the Pending Worker relationship. However, this changes the candidate status to HR – Withdrawn by Candidate, excludes the candidate from new-hire metrics.

We also considered converting the Pending Worker to Employee and then using Change Worker Type, but this requires the person to remain an Employee for at least one day.

Is there any standard configuration or supported alternative that avoids both impacts?
