Override the drop-down coverage value

For the Supplemental Life plan, the coverage drop-down is configured with values from 1x Annual Salary to 5x Annual Salary. However, some of the legacy coverage values we need to load through HDL do not correspond to these configured values.

1. Is there a way to override the coverage drop-down value through HDL and load the exact coverage amount from the legacy system, even if it doesn't match one of the configured coverage levels?
2. Also, when an employee receives a salary change, the coverage amount in the drop-down gets recalculated based on the new salary. If the resulting value doesn't match the existing coverage value, it gets refreshed to the default value. Is there a way to prevent this from happening and retain the employee's existing coverage amount after a salary change?
