Benefits Plan throwing an error evaluating a life event
Business Requirement: We have a Benefit Plan where the EE needs to enter a deduction value while enrollment. And then for certain group of employees we need to multiply the value entered by the EE with a certain value.
Setup:
- Standard Variable Rate setup
2. Variable Rate setup
Issue: The above setup was working fine all this time however after the latest release update we cannot process any life event for any employee enrolled in the Plan. We get the following error.
Analysis: We have verified that removing the above Variable Rate profile from the Standard Rate resolves the issue. However, we cannot remove the Variable rate as for certain group of population we need the value in Variable Rate Profile to be multiplied by the amount the EE elects (from Standard Rate setup).
