Write files from OIC to an AWS S3 bucket using temporary, short-lived AWS Access

Summary:

Hi Community,

We are using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect and write files to an AWS S3 bucket. Currently, we use the Amazon S3 and REST adapters with the "AWS Signature Version 4" security policy.

Our Challenge:Our organization is moving away from static keys to a role-based access model. We now need to generate and use temporary, short-lived AWS credentials (Access Key, Secret Key, and Session Token) for our S3 uploads.

The Blocker:Oracle Support has confirmed that passing these dynamic credentials at runtime (via the OIC mapper) is not supported for the S3 or REST adapters, as the keys are locked within the connection's security configuration.

Howdy, Stranger!
