Benefits Coverage Start Date as Elections and End Date as 1 prior not working

Summary:

We selected Coverage Start Date as "Election" and Previous Coverage End Date as "1 Prior". But this combination is not working fine. I started a life event effective 1st Aug 2026. However, the enrollment election was made on 3rd Aug 2026. The expected behavior in system would be that Coverage Start Date will be 3rd Aug and Previous Coverage End Date will be 2nd Aug. However, the system behavior is different. The system updated the Coverage Start Date as 3rd Aug but the previous coverage End Date as set to 31st July (1 day prior to event date). It is
