Journey Task Reminders not triggering as per schedule

Summary:

We have scheduled reminders for individual tasks and configured them to trigger one day before the task becomes overdue. However, the reminders are getting triggered 2 days before the task gets overdue. Additionally, the reminders are being sent at an unexpected time 8:01 p.m. ET.

Could someone please help clarify this unexpected behavior and confirm whether an ESS process is responsible for triggering these reminders.
