Has anyone used Service Profiles extensively?

Summary:

I want to deep-dive on the Service Profiles capability since I feel it will be a great value add for one of our customers. I've been trying to read up on Service Profiles but the knowledge seems pretty scattered on Oracle docs. I've also been exploring API docs but there are no reference payloads available to test anything. I'd love to get some knowledge on how this works end to end, and if anyone has been able to implement this in their implementation.
