Guidance on configuring GS1 datamatrix barcode in Redwood inventory

Hi Experts,

We are currently evaluating barcode scanning capabilities in Oracle Fusion Redwood Mobile Inventory for our client and need some Guidance regarding GS1 DataMatrix barcode support.

Our understanding is that Oracle provides the Configure Barcode Formats, which supports parsing GS1 Application Identifiers (AIs) such as GTIN, Lot, Expiry Date, and Serial Number, and allows custom barcode format definitions.

We would like to understand the following:

1. Has anyone successfully implemented GS1 DataMatrix barcode scanning in Redwood Mobile Inventory (particularly for pharmaceutical or healthcare products)?

2. If yes, was a separate barcode format created specifically for DataMatrix, or was the existing GS1/GS1-128 format configuration sufficient?
