Greetings!

This issue is about the setup for India Payroll-

Inoperative PAN field is part of India payroll -this field is applicable when PAN card and Aadhaar card are not inter-linked.

Reference-

This field is found to non-editable. We tried to check the setup but did not find the needful attribute where this change can be made-

Below is the screenshot for the field which should be made editable -
