Supplemental Spouse and Child Plan Visible Without Spouse and child Relationship

in Benefits 12 comments

Summary:

Hello Experts,

We have configured a Supplemental Spouse Plan/Supplemental Child Plan in Oracle Benefits. Our business requirement is that the plan should only be available to employees who have an active Spouse/Child relationship configured as a contact/dependent.

However, we are observing that the employee can still see the Supplemental Spouse Plan during enrollment even when no Spouse/Child relationship exists in the person's contacts/dependents.

Scenario:

  • Employee has no active contact/dependent with relationship type = Spouse/Child
  • During enrollment, the employee can still view and elect the Supplemental Spouse Plan and Supplemental Child Plan
  • Our expectation is that the plan should not be displayed at all when no eligible spouse/Child relationship exists.

Howdy, Stranger!
