IBY-825835 Error While Adding Existing Bank Account as Joint Owner in Third Party Payment Org

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

Hi Experts,

I'm facing an issue while configuring a bank account for a Third Party Payment Organization in Oracle Fusion Payments.

Steps performed:

  1. Navigate to Third Party Payment Organization setup.
  2. Enter bank account details.
  3. Oracle displays the message:

"A bank account with the given details already exists and is owned by another person. Do you want to become a joint owner of that bank account?"

  1. Select Yes.

Issue: After selecting Yes, the system throws the following error:

You can't create this bank account because another bank account with the same details already exists. (IBY-825835)

Has anyone encountered IBY-825835 in a similar scenario? How to resolve?
