Employee + Children option displayed even, when child is over age 26

Summary:

Hello Team,

We have a requirement where dependents who are over the maximum age limit of 26 should not make an employee eligible for the Employee + Children coverage option.

Scenario:

  • Employee has a child dependent/contact whose Date of Birth indicates the child is older than 26 years.
  • During Open Enrollment, the employee navigates to the medical plan enrollment page.
  • Based on our eligibility configuration, dependents above age 26 should no longer qualify as eligible children.
  • Therefore, the employee should not be eligible for or able to select the Employee + Children coverage tier.

Observed Behavior:

  • The child is currently over age 26.
  • During enrollment, the employee is still seeing the
