Defaulting the value on Template added Field

Summary:

In Opportunity we have a field 'Currency Code'. The LOV's of this field comes from a Task where the rates of the currencies are uploaded. It's Value is defaulting based on the user's currency preference.

We have a requirement to filter out some invalid currencies. For this we used SDP type Variable using ratedCurrency endpoint. Then we used the below Template for getting the LOV's in the field.


But the defaulting of the field as per user's currency preference is not working as expected. I We tried the below code in OpportunityOnCreate Action Chain and its not working as expected.
