Oracle SEHA on OCI Compute: Is VIP/SCAN VIP failover supported?

Hello,

I am building an Oracle SEHA environment on OCI Compute and would like to understand whether VIP and SCAN VIP failover is supported on OCI.

Environment

  • Oracle Grid Infrastructure 19c (19.32)
  • Oracle Database Standard Edition 2
  • Windows Server 2022
  • Two OCI Compute instances
  • Shared OCI Block Volumes for ASM
  • Two-node Oracle SEHA cluster

Questions

  1. Is automatic VIP and SCAN VIP failover supported for Oracle SEHA running on OCI Compute?
  2. Does Oracle Clusterware automatically relocate OCI Secondary Private IP addresses during node failure?
  3. Is there any OCI-specific configuration required to allow VIP relocation between compute instances?
  4. Has anyone successfully implemented VIP/SCAN VIP failover on Oracle SEHA (Windows Server 2022) running on OCI Compute?
