Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi Oracle,

We need to create a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) that supports 175 characters.

The value set can be created successfully using the following configuration:

  • Validation Type: Format Only
  • Value Data Type: Character
  • Value Subtype: Text
  • Maximum Length: 175

However, when we assign this value set to the global segment in Manage Supplier Descriptive Flexfields > POZ_SUPPLIERS using the following configuration, the system displays an error:

  • Data Type: Character
  • Table Column: ATTRIBUTE5

Howdy, Stranger!
