How to filter/show limited values in the State field in the Account-Address object

Navigation: Redwood Sales→ Account→Add Address: State field contains both a 2-letter code and the full name. We want the state name to appear on the LOV, not the state codes. We need a solution to filter out or turn off the 2-letter state codes in the State LOV in Add/Edit Address layouts in CX without impacting the other modules.
