Re: AGIS - Recipient Accounting not seen in GL for AGIS - GL Only Transaction
Hi Shanks,
Are you using transactions with Invoice or without invoice? If you are using transaction type without invoice, then you will need to check if you have run Transfer to General Ledger Program for both Initiator and Recipient side.
You can check the following notes:
Note 1088916.1 - AGIS: Overall transaction flow from AGIS to General Ledger (via Payables and Receivables)
Note 1065260.1 - R12: What Is The Setup Needed To Send AGIS Transactions To AP-AR Or Directly To GL?
Thanks and regards,
Anca

Re: Email notifications during GL journal approvals modification
Hello,
Answer 1) It is necessary to click on the Journal link to see Journal Details and Journal Lines. The journal or batch amount is not to be shown in the notification. One of the reasons is because the approval is controlled by the highest line amount, not for the total, therefore that information would be misleading.
You can find more information in the below Oracle document:
R12: Journal Approval Email Notification Not Displaying Journal Amount ($) (Doc ID 747594.1)
Also, limitation for Workflow - 32k for the notifications.
The system gets the profile option value (whatever one sets it to) and starts looping to construct the html document that would be handed over to workflow to display/email. The document constructed cannot be more than 32k (this includes all the html tags, style, etc...). This stops when one of the conditions is true:
a) either the iterations made (lines included in the html table) are equal to the profile value OR
b) the document size is 32k
If a) the number of lines in the batch exceeds the value set for the profile OR b) the document constructed has reached the 32k limit, you will get the message:
'More journal lines exist. Please click on 'Enter Journals' link to view the full journal.' The 'Enter Journals' will take you to the form.
This is expected functionality. You can find more information in the below Oracle document:
Journal Approval Workflow - Unable to Drill Down to Journal Details Through Email Notification (Doc ID 197658.1)
Answer 2) General Ledger development confirmed that there is no limit on the number of attachments, but the total size of all attachments cannot exceed 30MB.
Due to this limitation, email notifications will skip few attachments if the total size of the attachments exceeds 30MB.
You can find more information in the below Oracle document:
R12: GL: Why Journal Approval Workflow Notification Email Not Showing All Attachments? (Doc ID 2976081.1)
Regards.
