Re: What is the table where the Payment Methods are stored in R12?
I think the answer will be iby_payment_methods_tl. The tables mentioned above has a dependency on payees which restricts the results.
Re: Advisor Webcast for Applications Unlimited: What Are You Waiting For? On to OCI!
Q1: Does OCI have a guarantee up time?
A1: Each OCI Service has a unique SLA described here: https://www.oracle.com/cloud/sla/. If the service agreement for a certain service isn't met, customers will receive service credits to their cloud accounts.
***
Q2: How long does it take to migrate to OCI?
A2: This is a question we often get asked. The ultimate answer is it depends on the scope and size of the project. If your current deployment has a small footprint and you want to simply lift and shift your applications to OCI, it could take as little as 3 months. If you have a large footprint, a lot of external integrations, or plan to upgrade your application or database at the same time, then the project could take from 6 months to more than a year. Ultimately you should work with our Cloud Lift Services and they will guide you based on their experiences helping other customers move to OCI.

Q3: What is Oracle's policy on bringing custom VM images to OCI?
A3: OCI has an option called Bring Your Own Image (BYOI) in which you can import Windows and Linux-based custom images and run them on OCI using VMs. These images can be imported directly into your OCI tenancy. A few things to note would be that you must comply with all licensing requirements when you upload and start instances based on OS images that you supply. The maximum image size is 400 GB. Service limits and compartment quotas apply to custom images therefore you'll want to review the service limits. A service limit increase may need to be requested in some cases based on business requirements.

Q4: Can you tell me more about EBS certification with Autonomous Database?
A4: Interested parties should review the Introduction and FAQ: Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Autonomous Database (Doc ID 2759000.1), and email the EBS and Autonomous Program office at :ebs-adb-info_ww@oracle.com.

Q5: What versions of EBS can be migrated to Cloud? Are there any version limitations for EBS DB and application to migrate to OCI?
A5: What EBS releases are supported?
Our focus is on the EBS releases that are currently under Premier Support which are also eligible for Error Correction Support, namely EBS 12.1.3 and EBS 12.2.3 and higher. The following sources contain information about support and error correction policies:
• Oracle Lifetime Support Policies
• Oracle Lifetime Support Policy: Oracle Applications
• Oracle E-Business Suite Error Correction Policy (Doc ID 1195034.1)
For a list of certified and automated combinations of Oracle E-Business Suite releases, Oracle Database releases, and Oracle cloud services, see the relevant Getting Started document:
• Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Doc ID 2517025.1)
• Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud at Customer (Doc ID 2517035.1)
• RETIRED: Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic (Doc ID 2517045.1)
Can customers run older EBS or Database releases in Oracle Cloud?
In principle, one can run any workload that is run on-premises in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute.
However, we recommend that customers upgrade to a newer release of the product before attempting a cloud migration of Oracle EBS, for reasons that include the following:
• Oracle EBS Releases 11i and 12.0, and Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2.0.3), are all under Sustaining Support, which means that no new fixes will be provided. *See Oracle Lifetime Support Policies for more information.
• Oracle EBS Releases 12.1.1 and 12.1.2 do not meet the minimum requirements for creation of one-off patches or other fixes.
• The supported platforms, releases, and database deployment options listed in the Getting Started note are the only ones explicitly tested. Consequently, any issues encountered may need to be reproduced in an on-premises environment for Oracle to be able to investigate.
What database releases are supported?
For a list of certified combinations of Oracle E-Business Suite releases, Oracle Database releases, and Oracle Cloud services, see the relevant Getting Started document:
• Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Doc ID 2517025.1)
• Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud at Customer (Doc ID 2517035.1)
• RETIRED: Getting Started with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic (Doc ID 2517045.1)
Automation is provided to provision new instances of Oracle E-Business Suite Releases 12.2.x or 12.1.3 with Databases 19c or 12.1.0.2, and to lift and shift existing instances of Oracle E-Business Suite Releases 12.2.3 and later or 12.1.3 with Database 19c, 12.1.0.2 or 11.2.0.4.
For specific automation capabilities and prerequisites, refer to the appropriate document above.

Q6: What are the options for migrating Customized Applications built with Oracle Forms to OCI (e.g. customized application, built with Oracle Forms 11g)?
A6: When customers migrate E-Business Suite to OCI, they migrate the complete EBS application, including their EBS customizations known as CEMLI’s) to OCI. Part of our EBS to OCI messaging is, It’s the EBS that the customer knows, It’s the EBS that the customer owns, it’s the EBS that the customer customized, it’s the EBS that the customer integrated - All while taking advantage of the operational and cost benefits of Oracle Cloud.
What are the options for migrating Customized Applications built with Oracle Forms to OCI?
It depends mainly on versions of all the components making up the customized application, such as Oracle Forms Versions, Libraries versions, O/S Versions. As we also state regarding older versions of EBS, in principle, one can run any workload that is run on-premises in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute. The customer has full access to the IaaS Compute, including root access, plus customers may also leverage the bring-your-own-image if necessary.
