Re: Post BC Payables Encumbrance Journal
Hi,
Until an encumbrance is transferred to GL, it shows a "batch" name of "BC Payables" under the Funds Inquiry view in the General Ledger.
These lines are for
. 'All Approved/validated invoices' that are yet to be transfered and posted to GL
Please do the 'transfer to GL' and post them and these will no longer appear.
Then you would be able to see the journal.
Product Version 9.2, Selective Maintenance and PUM Images
Hi all:
This is Jill from Global Support. I am posting this note to Global Payroll and Absence Management, but the subject matter of the post carries across to all PeopleSoft products on version 9.2.
We have received numerous SRs this week, with customers reporting urgent issues performing a 'make me current', where they are applying an entire PUM Image.
Using the example from these SRs, in all cases, we learned that the customers had been selectively applying the latest Payroll for North America Tax Updates (to 22-E) along with the latest Absence Management maintenance and new features. That created an environment, whose latest maintenance was extracted from PUM 44.
They then chose to perform a 'make me current' to PUM 42. This path 'back-versions' the code and causes the issues, due to lack of synchrony.
Thus, when planning on performing a 'make me current' project, be sure to use the PUM image, consistent with the latest selective maintenance applied.
Additionally (thanks to my pal, Dan from Texas for the reminder) we strongly recommend that if you're even only applying one COBOL program to the environment, that you recompile ALL COBOL and reload ALL stored statements, using the example above, especially run STOREPAY.dms and STOREGP.dms,
As always, we in Global Support are here to help.
Cheers.
